YNY Technology Sdn Bhd is looking for a hands-on Software Developer who thrives on building robust .NET applications and is excited to integrate AI into real-world industrial systems. What You'll Do:
Application Development
Application Development
- Designing, coding, and testing of software.
- Develop software according to team standards, best practices, and industry guidelines.
- Ensure all code includes appropriate unit tests and passes before release.
- Document technical information clearly and accurately.
Project Delivery:
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to define scope, provide technical delivery estimates, and coordinate activities across the full project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage risks, update processes and procedures, and develop action plans to address gaps.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless implementation of systems.
- Define delivery phases, technical activities, sub-activities, and milestones for project schedules.
AI & Emerging Technologies:
- Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered features into existing and new systems where applicable.
- Collaborate with team members to identify AI use cases and translate business requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Ensure AI integrations meet performance, security, reliability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
- Explore and implement retrieval-based AI approaches (e.g., RAG for document-based Q&A)
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of proven employment in a similar role
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of C# .NET Core, ASP.NET / MVC / WebAPI, and SQL/database design.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, React, and Blazor.
- Excellent knowledge of Stored Procedures and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with integration of external solutions: Aveva MES/ System Platform, ERP, SCADA/PLC, etc.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps / GitLab (preferred).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
- Experience with unit testing, performance testing (preferred).
AI Skills:
- Working knowledge of Python for AI/ML development, automation, or prototyping.
- Experience integrating AI services/APIs into applications (e.g., chat, content generation, automation).
- Understanding of AI application patterns, including chat-based interfaces and AI-assisted workflows.
- Conceptual understanding of AI agents; hands-on experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with prompt design, response handling, and managing AI limitations (accuracy, latency, cost).
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data for AI-driven features.
- Awareness of AI security, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Exposure to retrieval-based AI approaches (RAG) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage technical delivery.
