Purchasing Executive (Supply Chain)

Job Description
  • Source, Select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price term, payment term, deliveries schedule and services and invoicing with vendors.
  • Maintain complete update purchasing records / data and pricing in ERP system.
  • Issue PO to supplier and monitor delivery from supplier to ensure material availability for production /customer delivery schedule.
  • Liaise with store supervisor before order, to control the stock level (first in; first out).
  • Analysis vendor and purchase record base on previous data to ensure the product and service are quality.
  • Incoming shipment monitoring from vendor up to destination (local Malaysia vendor & oversea vendors).
  • Coordinate & liaise with suppliers, customers, shipping agents on imports and export arrangement.
  • Preparation of commercial, packing list and all necessary document for inbound or outbound shipment
  • Coordinate and arrange projects shipment for local or overseas projects
  • Responsible on incoming goods custom clearance and declaration. Advice and confirm tariff code, tax, duties of the products, import documentation filing, application for temporary import and Import Permit.
  • Liaise with custom on SST update & record.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), business studies or equivalents.
  • At least 1-2 Years of working experience in related field is required of this position.
  • Preferably an Executive specialized in Purchasing /Inventory /Material
  • Computer literate with experience ERP
  • Self-motivated, independent with less supervise and able to work as a team
