Sinar Tenaga M&E Sdn Bhd is looking for skilled Design Engineer to carry out and complete projects in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Building Services (MEP).
As we constantly have projects & system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Design Engineer in Selangor.
What Does Our Team Do?:
- Assist managers in coordinating and implementing project tasks.
- Work in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:
- Catalogues and material submissions.
- Cable lists and termination diagrams.
- Shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Coordinate with drafters, suppliers, clients, local authorities, and contractors to meet project requirements.
- Perform material planning and procurement activities, including:
- Taking off project quantities.
- Requesting quotations from suppliers/vendors.
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
- Ensure that all project-related documents and drawings are submitted to consultants and clients for review and approval.
- Ensure timely submission of technical documents and shop drawings as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any feedback or revisions required during the approval process.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all submitted and approved documents and drawings for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Senior Project Engineer act as a mentor for newly joined engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Perform all other duties, activities, and responsibilities as assigned by superiors, as necessary.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline or 10 years and above related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experiences with Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Office, MS Excel etc.).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Proficiency in Navisworks Freedom software
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction milestone.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
