Sinar Tenaga M&E Sdn Bhd is looking for skilled Design Engineer to carry out and complete projects in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Building Services (MEP).

As we constantly have projects & system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Design Engineer in Selangor.

What Does Our Team Do?:

Assist managers in coordinating and implementing project tasks.
Work in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:
- Catalogues and material submissions.
- Cable lists and termination diagrams.
- Shop drawings and technical specifications.
Attend and actively participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Coordinate with drafters, suppliers, clients, local authorities, and contractors to meet project requirements.
Perform material planning and procurement activities, including:
- Taking off project quantities.
- Requesting quotations from suppliers/vendors.
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
Ensure that all project-related documents and drawings are submitted to consultants and clients for review and approval.
Ensure timely submission of technical documents and shop drawings as per project schedules.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any feedback or revisions required during the approval process.
Maintain a comprehensive record of all submitted and approved documents and drawings for future reference and compliance purposes.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Senior Project Engineer act as a mentor for newly joined engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Perform all other duties, activities, and responsibilities as assigned by superiors, as necessary.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline or 10 years and above related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experiences with Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Office, MS Excel etc.).
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Proficiency in Navisworks Freedom software
Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction milestone.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
